Dr. Nidal Al Ramahi, the President of Zarqa University, received a delegation led by the National Aid Fund's Director, Ms. Khitam Shneikat, on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, with the goal of discussing professional and technical cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, attended by the Dean of Zarqa Intermediate Technical College, Dr. Munther Krishan, Al Ramahi emphasized that the collaboration between the two parties will maintain the university’s mission and strategic plan, which includes strengthening its local, regional, and global partnerships with the public and private sectors as well as partnering with industry to serve the local community.

Moreover, he said cooperation with the Fund would result in the implementation of vocational projects and programs aimed at supporting children of the Fund's beneficiaries towards professional development.

According to Shneikat, the university's achievements in the professional and academic fields at the local and international levels have delighted her. Moreover, she noted that the Fund looks forward to collaborating with the private sector and civil society institutions in order to develop training programs that meet Jordanian labor market standards and needs.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited the workshops of Zarqa Intermediate Technical College and some of the university’s workshops and facilities.
